About Me
Grab your popcorns. It's story-time.
I grew up in Singapore, raised by two people who shaped the way I see the world. My dad loved asking "What if?" after movies and TV shows. What if the other character died instead? What if the story took a different turn? Those questions stuck with me. They became the spark behind every story I’ve written since. My mom, on the other hand, was my backbone. She taught me discipline, kindness, and how to show up even when no one is watching.

As a teenager, I started writing ghost stories on a small blog, never thinking they’d reach anyone. But they did. Readers from around the world left comments, and for the first time, I felt the thrill of being heard. It wasn’t just a hobby anymore. I had a voice, and stories became the way I used it.

Over the years, I’ve written for television, developed original formats, and created content for brands ranging from startups to legacy institutions. Along the way, I took inspiration from everything around me. Pro wrestling taught me about emotional payoffs and character arcs. Comics and thrillers shaped my taste for layered, grounded storytelling. My curiosity has always been my compass.

In 2022, I lost both of my parents. As an only child, it felt like the ground had disappeared beneath me. I made a decision to start over. I moved to Seattle with a promise to honor them by becoming the person they always believed I could be. That promise led me to the University of Washington, where I am now pursuing my master’s degree in Communications Leadership. This program’s foundation in storytelling makes it the right home for my growth.

I speak English and Tamil fluently, with conversational skills in Mandarin and Malay. These languages have given me access to different worlds and taught me how to connect across cultures. Whether I’m writing a comic, shaping a brand voice, or building a transmedia universe, I work with empathy, clarity, and purpose.

My goals are clear. I want to be in a TV writers’ room. I want to launch my comic franchise, Dreamline, into the world. I want to lead storytelling for companies and causes that matter. And no matter how far I go, I will always return to the same idea: there is a story in everything. My job is to tell it well.

The values I chose embody my mission and ambition.

I show empathy to everyone I meet as I want to put myself in their shoes, understand their stories and highlight them to the world. Walk a mile in someone else's shoe.

I show humility to always stay grounded and remember where I came from. I am a lifelong learner.
I know that I don't know.

Family comes first for almost EVERYONE including me. But family to me, means more than blood. It means my friends. My neighbors. My community...
Empathy. Humility. Family.

My promise to my parents in heaven is to do them proud!

Mission
My purpose is to tell stories and of the unheard and untold by communicating underlying messages of community, persistence, grit,
morals and values and tying them up in an entertaining package. I intend to also entertain people through my retelling of stories via Television and live a rewarding life where my art materializes onto the screen.

Why me?
It is going to be a long journey. But with the knowledge I've gained from the Communications Leadership program at the University of Washington, my prior experience and my inherent love for the mediums of Mass Media, I truly believe I will achieve my goals and in the process, give back to society.
