Professional Writing Experience

The Singapore Cricket Club
Working for the Singapore Cricket Club, one of the main tasks I had was being in charge of the content of their bi-monthly club magazine called The Padang Magazine. Editorials and advertising copy and also journalism and photography were essential skills I honed here as well as learning the process of pagination for publishing.

The Moving Visuals Co.
It was at The Moving Visuals Company (TMVC) that I began writing long-form content for television, including documentaries for Channel NewsAsia, as well as game shows and reality/entertainment formats for both local and international networks. My work covers everything from research and scripting to host narration, storyboarding, and character profiling. I love building stories that feel real and engaging, whether it’s an emotional documentary or a fast-paced game show. I’m all about turning big ideas into something that connects with people on screen.

A Singaporean based mobile game with the tagline "For Singaporeans, by Singaporeans", the writing was an interesting mix of balancing between the usage of local terms with the main goal being as many downloads as possible.

Masak Masak
Copywriting when automobiles were concerned was a challenging task as I had to understand beyond just the promotional tactics and strategies but also the technical aspects of the various cars we would be involved with. This was an important portion in the overall content making along with great photography and heavy promotion.

Clay-Fingers
Educational services and products can be limiting in content creation or writing, however, the revolutionary new product called Clay-Fingers infused art with technology and thus opened the pandora's box of interactivity and even user submissions which we have highlighted.

Kopi-Break
A self-launched project with a few friends, Kopi-Break was a website where we were unchained and allowed to let our creative content flow. From opinion pieces to self-help guides and even fictional stories, Kopi-Break was where we discovered our penchant for content creation, going as far as collaborations with other local editorials.

Dreamline: City of Fallen Angels
Dreamline is a project that I created as a transmedia horror-thriller exploring trauma, identity, and ambition through the lens of a single mother who astral-projects into other people’s lives while she sleeps. I developed the concept, worldbuilding, and story arcs, and wrote for multiple formats including comics, video scripts, and immersive digital experiences. The project spans several platforms—combining visual storytelling, social media, and audio drama elements—to create an emotionally layered and interactive narrative experience.

The Golden Cobra
WORK IN PROGRESS: The Golden Cobra is a dark action comedy about a washed-up ex-cop with a wild past and a daughter who’d rather arrest him than hug him. Tony "The Golden Cobra" Knight used to be a legend in the force until his elite five-man unit fell apart after a messy betrayal, and the nickname became a punchline. Now, years later, he's pulled back into the chaos when his no-nonsense, rule-loving daughter Julia Griffith (definitely not a fan of his antics) ends up working a case that crosses paths with his old demons.

What follows is a ridiculous, high-stakes father-daughter team-up featuring cults, killers, cyber creeps, and one really awkward family dinner. Each case-of-the-week is tied into a bigger conspiracy, and the show jumps between wild action, real emotional stakes, and offbeat humor. Think True Detective meets Brooklyn Nine-Nine if someone gave both shows a shot of whiskey and let Limp Bizkit do the intro.

Through the Two Way Mirror
The Two-Way Mirror is a deeply personal long-form essay that weaves together my love for professional wrestling with reflections on masculinity, media, and the relationship I shared with my father. It explores how wrestling has mirrored society over the decades and how, in many ways, it shaped my own worldview. This piece was selected for publication in Mindshift 2025, a University of Washington anthology that showcases powerful, emerging voices in cultural storytelling.

Public Transportation:
The Forgotten Climate Solution
This interactive article dives into Seattle’s buses and light rail system as more than just a way to get around, it explores how public transit can be a real, tangible climate solution. Drawing from policy, design critiques, and social theory, the piece breaks down why people don’t use it, what can be done, and how the future of our cities depends on shifting how we move. Created for my Communications for the Environment class, it mixes storytelling, media, and data into one immersive experience.

Independently, I have also created collateral for various independent events such as music performances, live shows, retail promotions and more.
I also have experience in Social media management including visuals, photography, captioning and creating a content calendar.
